Assistance with enrolling in health insurance, finding primary care
physicians and mental health providers, and understanding healthcare systems. UHAI
also advocates for healthcare policies that address disparities in access for immigrant
communities.
Housing Support
Guidance in finding affordable housing and accessing housing benefits.
This includes partnerships with local housing authorities and other nonprofits.
Employment Assistance
Job readiness training, resume writing workshops, and
connections to employment opportunities. The program emphasizes industries with high
growth potential and connects participants to training programs.
Legal Aid Navigation
Support in connecting with legal services for immigration and
other legal needs. UHAI works closely with legal aid organizations to ensure clients
receive timely and effective assistance.
