We have so many people living in the streets\, in shelters and in our homes affected by mental health. \nThis event will avail to us resources and information to know how to address the crisis and support our loved ones. \nInformation is power. \nWe will also have a moment of silence to remember those we have lost in the mental health battle. \n  \n

SUMMARY:UHAI for Health Spring Fundraiser 2024
DESCRIPTION:The event will raise funds for Uhai for Health\, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization established in 2010 to empower African immigrants and refugees in Greater Worcester to become healthy and self-sufficient\, contributing members of our diverse and vibrant community. \nThe 2024 Uhai for Health Spring Fundraiser will provide a mix of education and entertainment for all ages. Our honored guest speakers\, State Senator Robyn Kennedy and Worcester Commissioner of Health & Human Services Matilde Castiel MD\, will provide updates on community health needs. \nGuests will celebrate the diversity of our community – enjoying traditions from both Eastern and Western Africa with food\, dances\, and a fashion show highlighting the richness of African diversity. We will fill the hall with the Harambee spirit\, a Swahili motto meaning “Let’s pull together.” \nWe hope to see you there!
