Vintage 1960's Handmade Wooden Doll Little Red Riding Hood Long Yellow Braids Basket Of Dried Flowers.This precious handmade folk art doll has been in my collection since the 1960's.9" tall.The construction of this doll is just incredible. Her body is made out of dark wood and put together with actual nails. Her face is hand painted on a round wooden head.She has a little red riding red felt hood on her head, that can come away from her head. Her long braids are made out of dyed straw. Her gingham check in white and blue is cardboard. There is a white petticoat and white paper lace panties.Her little hands are made out of flesh colored felt. The thin wooden legs are covered n blue felt all the way down to her oval pointed feet. There is one tiny nail in each foot to attach to the legs.In her right arm is a finely handmade straw basket filled with beautiful dried flowers.This doll is just perfect.She is probably one of a kind.Thanks for looking.
