Youth Program – Future Innovation Leaders Academy​

The Future Innovation Leaders Academy is a flagship initiative under UHAI’s Youth Program. This initiative is designed to equip young people with the skills, resilience, and support needed to thrive in today’s world. It focuses on mental health, leadership development, and socioemotional support for youth.

Key Services

  • Mental Health Awareness
Workshops on Emotional intelligence, social skills, substance abuse and suicide prevention among youth. These sessions are facilitated by mental health professionals and incorporate culturally relevant approaches to address stigma
  • Leadership Development
Training sessions to build leadership skills, encourage entrepreneurship, and inspire community engagement. Programs include mentorship opportunities and project-based learning to cultivate practical skills.
  • Quarterly Youth Connect Events
These events provide socio-emotional support and create safe spaces for young people to share their experiences and learn from mentors. Topics include conflict resolution, career planning, and digital literacy.
  • Suicide Prevention Campaigns:
In collaboration with local schools and community organizations, UHAI runs campaigns to educate youth on recognizing signs of mental health struggles and seeking help.
