Tea Party

Objective: Strengthening community bonds and celebrating cultural heritage. Activities: Networking sessions, storytelling by community leaders, and performances showcasing traditional music and dance.

Mental Health Month

Activities: Workshops and seminars to raise awareness about mental health and connect individuals to resources. The program will include panel discussions with mental health experts, mindfulness sessions, and art therapy workshops. Focus: Addressing stigma, providing coping strategies, and encouraging open discussions about mental health.

Summer Events for Men

Focus: Men’s health and well-being. Activities: Fitness sessions, health screenings, and workshops on mental and physical health tailored for men. Topics include managing stress, preventive healthcare, and fatherhood.

World Youth Day – 2025

Celebration: Highlighting youth contributions and potential. Activities: Leadership panels, talent showcases, and community service projects. A youth pitch competition will also be held to encourage entrepreneurial ideas.

Health Fair – Stop the Stigma 2025

Focus: Destigmatizing mental health issues within the African immigrant and refugee communities. Offerings: Free health screenings, mental health workshops, fitness demonstrations, and resource distribution. Attendees can participate in interactive sessions on stress management and mindfulness.

Seniors Program Celebration

Objective: Honoring seniors in the community. Activities: Cultural performances, games, and recognition ceremonies for community leaders and active participants. Workshops on estate planning and financial literacy for seniors will also be offered.
